First time combining 2 images

So as the title says, This was my first time combining 2 images. The shed was taken at blue hour, Then I combined it with the stars I shot. I don't have photoshop or lightroom so I used adobe after effects. So some feedback would be much appreciated. (I'm also very new to astrophotography)

its got a ton of noise but it looks cleanly done ...GET PHOTOSHOP!!! its a priceless tool and if you get just PS not the whole adobe lineup i think i pay $10.oo US a month. it blows up the possibilities of what you can do

Thank you for the feedback. My camera has a lot of noise when taking in dark areas. I don't know if that is because my camera is from 2011 or if I haven't figured it out yet. Will also definitely buy Photoshop.

what iso are you shooting at most of these astrophotographers are shooting anywhere from 100 - 3400 iso so the higher the iso the more noise you will get..at least thats what I've read

ISO: 3200
Apeture: 3.5
Shutter Speed: 30s
(Can't remember what I used for blue hour)

you stars are egg shaped - probably exposed too long. Try 20 seconds instead of 30. Also if you stacked 10-15 shorter exposures you would get much less noise, nicer star shapes and more signal (detail).

Fstoppers has a nice tutorial on stacking the sky with photoshop and blending in the foreground if you search for it. Sequator is a free program that is excellent as well for this. Also lots of tutorials on YouTube.

Only other thing is the focus is slightly off on the stars. But for an initial astro image you did well!

Thank you very much. I will definitely try less exposure time.
