One of my favorite image made during my Spiti tour.It was a challenging night. Finding transportation was the first to begin with.
I had visualized this image when I was traveling from Manali to Kaza. Saw this Vantage Point Near by Kibber bridge. Thanks to my tour partner they lend me their Royal Enfield Classic that night and I was all prepared to ride. Next challenge, how to carry my gears ? I tied my tripod near the foot rest and my backpack on front carrying my tracker and accessories. Sigh! It was one heck of a night. Usually many avoid riding and driving at night in the valley. Its pitch dark and roads are unpredictable, one wrong move I could have ended up in the river, which had happened just that month, and to top it all there's no cellphone reception to call for help.
Somehow made my mind and started towards the spot I wanted to shoot. That night no vehicles were around. The Enfield sound echoed while I rode blind turns, spotted multiple fox crossing the road, and I finally reached my spot after 40 min ride in the night from my base location. Oh man! My legs were shivering while mounting my tripod and tracker.
I wanted to light up the road, waited no one passed by, then decide to use the Enfield to go back and forth. After multiple trials, got the image I wanted to create that night ! This spiti tour, I had made up my mind to push my limits to create images.
