peering into infinity

This is a composite of two images stitched vertically. I wanted an anchor for the Milky Way and the leading lines of the rocks helped frame my perspective.

As this was shot on a 14 mm getting the perspective right was tricky. The exposure times were also different with 5 minutes for the rocks and 15 seconds for the Milky Way. The horizon formed a neat separation helping the blend.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
