When I don't get to shoot what I want, I tend to resort to shooting buildings. Case in point, I went into town to try out a new lens and was hoping for some interesting street photography opportunities but nothing really caught my eye. So, predictably, I found a building.
I like it, PK! Maybe this is a bit photo-nerdy, but the faint halo in the sky above the dark curve at right draws undue attention to the processing; it's more obvious in such a simple image with clear edges to the forms.
Cheers, Chris. I'll have to check the original image on my PC but I did have to do a little in post to bring up the detail in the blacks/shadows so expect this may be the culprit but I used a gradient mask only and didn't change either the clarity or sharpness.
