God have I missed doing portraiture!
Submitted for full critique and general disassembly-
a monochrome headshot employing a diffusion umbrella for the backdrop. I did have to remove the umbrella's ribs in post, but the bright while made it pretty easy. I also punched up the clarity to give it a grittier feel. Lighting consisted of a Godox AD600 in a 28" parabolic octabox, double diffused with eggcrate grid camera left, and a Godox AD200 in the diffusion umbrella in backdrop. Nikon D800 and Tamron 70-200 2.8.
