Shannon attends a local modeling school. For her final graduation project, she's required to reach out to a photographer for a photoshoot. She reached out to me and I agreed to photograph her. We got some great fashion images and I also wanted her to have a great headshot. Hope you like it.
I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
