This guy flew in with a flock of house finches, but I've never seen such yellow on a finch before. I'm assuming he's getting in his adult feathers, but that yellow is surprising. Oak Ridge, TN.
On another forum, they said that this can happen depending on what they eat and that yellow coloring is common near Mexico. Not that TN is near that, LOL.
