I see these comments on many photos - BTW - those who are putting comments like "Needs Work" should elaborate to say what is needed according to them.

Hector, I like your idea but the lighting doesn't work. I live in AZ. also, I could have help you with this shot...
Thanks Bill. The afternoon sun was pretty low. I wanted the harsh direct sunlight but I didn't want split lighting. I had her sister (the assistant) hold a homemade reflector (white beach towel) to open shadows on her face. We'll have to plan something for the next time I'm in AZ.

BTW... I didn't realize you were in Tucson. I spent a lot of time there before my retirement from my engineering career. We pass through Tucson on the way back home from our visits to Havasu.
