Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Hector, I like your idea but the lighting doesn't work. I live in AZ. also, I could have help you with this shot...
Thanks Bill. The afternoon sun was pretty low. I wanted the harsh direct sunlight but I didn't want split lighting. I had her sister (the assistant) hold a homemade reflector (white beach towel) to open shadows on her face. We'll have to plan something for the next time I'm in AZ.
Let me know, the next time you pass thru...
BTW... I didn't realize you were in Tucson. I spent a lot of time there before my retirement from my engineering career. We pass through Tucson on the way back home from our visits to Havasu.
You may be right. Thanks!
