Without reading your comment my eye was immediately drawn to the beautiful blues, purples, oranges that I wanted a closer inspection. Surprise...another color can be found!

Did you know the visitor was there before pressing the shutter, or was it a pleasant surprise?

I also like the new bud showing more promises of things to come.

Thank you for posting.

Thank you, Dean. I did not know until I got home. My eyes are not good with closeups.

Something about this photo bugs me!

Photo Girl, what a wonderful portrait of a composite flower. From its rays, to the highly detailed and colorful disk florets and aphid.

”If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for a moment. I want to give that world to someone else.” - Georgia O’keffe

A very beautiful, clean and colorful capture.

What a joyful image PG - it really screams summer!

I am always surprised by the things that unknowingly turn up in our images and add that little bit extra depth for an observant viewer.

I am guessing that you were not aware of your little friend when pressing the shutter, right?

You guessed right. I only discovered it when I got home. Thanks for checking it out!
