Nova-Super Nova
I was walking into church one very cold February morning and someone had been parked directly over this puddle, it had snowed and the snow had melted into this spot. Grabbing my handy dandy i-Phone and got it. All of the changes to color balance, contrast, saturation were done using Photoshop. Kind of out of character for my work, but I try to mix things up.

Nice work, Nathan. I see you're not a view-camera-and-film-purist! Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with being one.
Thanks. I am an anything that works purist. There are tmes when only a small, quick camera will work. There are times when a large format film camera works best for me. There are times when I only have my i-Phone with me.
Nice experiment, Nathan. I love the colors and your editing!
Thank you.
I knew exactly what that was without reading any description. I love the editing as it brings out the details that you see in real life when viewed at a particular angle.
Did you know if you rotate the image 90° that is looks like a winged creature...perhaps an Abstract Phoenix?
Do you dare enter it in July's Critique the Community: Abstract or Conceptual?
Oo, that splash of deep, rich and vibrant colors on that dark asfalt, I love it! It reminds me of images taken with a temperature imager.
Thank you.
Nathan McCreery Keep mixing things up 🙂 . Good image.
Thank you.
#Dean Wilson, My batting average on those monthly contests isn't great, and that one is nearly done. And, I have the limit of three entered. But thanks
