Intersteller Patterns

I have never been into space, so this is what I might imagine that it looks like. Again, from a canyon wall when I was exiting Farnsworth Canyon ahead of a thunderstorm. I used a Toyo 45A, 150mm Sinaron Lens with a #61 Dark Green filter. Kodak T-Max 100 rated at ASA 50 and processed N++ in my darkroom. The negative was then treated in a solution of Rapid Selenium Toner to add another stop of contrast to the negative.

Very nice, Nathan. You capture contrasting textures so well in your compositions!

I should of have asked first, but I downloaded your photo and rotated it 180°... (which was easier than standing on my head.

The bottom reminds me of the a Van Gogh atmosphere and I wanted to see what it looked like. Now I can't unsee it "proper" orientation. I think this is because my eye see the rocks as heavy and the striation of sandstone as light.

Flipped only.

My eye sees a solid ground and a flowing atmosphere
