The Entry

“There's a place I travel when I want to roam, and nobody knows it but me. The roads don't go there and the signs stay home, and nobody knows it but me. It's far, far away and way, way afar, it's over the moon and the sea, and wherever you're going that's wherever you are. And nobody knows it but me" Patrick O'Leary.

That used to be the story of this place. I could go there very early in the morning and be there by myself, usually for a whole day. Now it's been discovered, so it rests as a sweet memory of one of the last truly wild places. I used a Toyo 45A camera, a 90mm Sinaron Lens, a #61 Dark Green filter and Kodak T-Max 100 film rated at ASA 50.

I hesitate posting locations even when a simple Google Lens search will reveal the location.

Full moon setting and looking North. Not telling anyone the location.

As much as I can I try to limit information, realizing that much of the information is in the public domain. And you're right that a simple Google Lens search often reveals the location. We can't do anything about that, we can however do our part to not be a part of the problem that is bringing destruction to these delicate, and marvelous places.

Another beautiful shot, Nathan! I'm really enjoying your series!
