Calf Creek Falls

This one is way back in the back country in Southern Utah, USA. A buddy and I, with my son, hiked back into this falls on a very hot May afternoon. My son was between his junior and senior year in high school and I took him with me so that his mom could have some relief, since he was very much a handful. The trail was mostly blow sand with a small creek running beside it. Very nice and cool water, which I partook of, stupidly, without using filter. Thankfully I didn't get sick from it. I do remember coming out and getting back to my truck where my buddy had stashed an ice chest and it had three RC Colas. Very welcome when it's nearly 100 degrees! Most people aren't familiar with RC Colas, or as they're known in the south, aRr osee Colas. Very welcome and very refreshing after that very hot hike.
At that time I was using a Crown Graphic Camera and Kodak VPS III color film. The lens was a 135 Nikkor with a UV-15 filter.
