November challenge
Given that it is so much more difficult to be inspired this time of year and the fact that participation in these challenges has seen a recent decline I have decided not to set any formal challenge this month.
That said, I challenge each member to come up with their own goals for the month of November, find their own inspiration and be willing to share both images and ideas with others.
Of course you can still set your own challenge for members should you wish, all engagement is encouraged.
As the cooler weather drives us indoors perhaps November is a time to brush up on editing skills and take time to reflect.

Hi Alan!
You are sad about the declining engagement. I can understand very well. As I am one of the guys who reduced the actions I'd like to share a little insight.
I changed my Browser settings. Wipe any cookie and wipe history when I close the browser to reduce tracking. Resulting in an auto-log out. A result is also I can't see any activity of a group being logged out. So it gets out of focus. Manual log in is required each time for commenting.
Discussion of topics not meeting my interest. These discussions shall have their space! It is about growing, experimenting, failing and learning. I must not join that discussion. Example was ICM.
Being logged out it is more or less difficult to find the groups from the main page. So I have a look onto the new articles, nothing interesting? And leave. Groups get simply out of focus, being forgotten.
Seeing an increasing number of articles resulting in a bigger hype about new chinese lenses since the tax war started rather topics and articles to grow. I have sufficient stuff. I skip hidden advertising.
Refocus to real life rather being online. I started to try out projects. Something like 'darkness - light pollution'. Plus impacts in life demanding more resources.
So it is a conglomerate of experience, actions, constraints for me.
Best regards, dg9ncc
