I am posting the December challenge early as I will be traveling and with limited access to a PC.
Prompted by the excellent earlier posts from Dean (Wilson), this month's challenge will be the ubiquitous selfie. Look at this as not simply a request to post you favorite self-portrait, but to have fun and allow your creative juices to run wild.
The only requirements for this are that your post must include one image that shows us the real you (does not have to be face on if shy.....), and at least one that shows some creativity.
Possible suggestions;
- reflections
- long exposures/movement
- post processing distortions/filters
Feel free to play with this. It is not a competition, with creative thinking taking precedence over image quality.
Here are some of my own past attempts at being a subject, I look forward to seeing your fresh ideas.
In case I fall off the grid during my time away, I wish all in the US safe travels and a Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow, Alan, what a wide variety selfies.
I like photo #2 the most. The store front mannequin reflection is exemplified with the stainless steel as the bottom half. As well as the effects of the double pane glass reflection.
#3 and #4 are also outside what we have have seen from you lately.
