Las Vegas is a very unique city...I like to call it the Disneyland for adults...I found the more interesting sights to be off the beaten path where the tourists don`t hang out, but it was the streets of LV that had a certain special feeling...I think it has to do with the desert climate and daylight very special to the southwest of the USA.
