Portrait of Atlantic puffin

The Atlantic Puffin can be very hard to capture good and sharp photos of. They fly quickly and as soon as they land with food for their little ones they disappear into their small caves. The cool thing about taking pictures of the puffins at Runde, Norway is that as soon as the sun sets the puffins starts be really photogenic and sits still. You can get really close to these birds, with out them running or flying away.

Cute shot! Nice and sharp, great beak color and I like how you can see they eye color.

I'd say the image is framed ok but it seems a bit truncated, perhaps (I'm not sure of your situation at that moment) having taken a step or two to the right, in order to move his head from behind the rock. And getting more green and a little less rock in the frame.

Keep it up!
