Hello! I have been a photographer for many years now, in fact I am a second generation photographer and have a healthy love and respect for many types of photography. As of recent I have been trying to move more toward commercial, fashion & beauty with my career. Here are some recent images I created and retouched for my portfolio. I have also considered trying to get an editorial posted in a magazine. Hi Ian,
Looking at your work i see a nice light in your images. Not in all of them but in many. I don't think you have problems concerning the light part but on the retouching side you'll need a bit more practice. For example the cotouring of the hair is to rough and obvious. You have to let some hairs out to keep it natural. Hair will never be perfect! On the skin side you are getting there...just a bit more practice here also. Over all not bad regarding the time that you have put in this part of photography.(sorry for my english).
Thanks for the input Adrian! I've been trying to update some of my retouching techniques and I'm still perfecting them (as you noticed). I'm curios as to which images you thought didn't have the best lighting. Again, thanks for the input.
