I met Jane a few months back at a private group shoot with a couple of other photographers. I thought she had a top notch range of facial expressions that just came naturally to her. We subsequently met up and decided we should do something together 1-on-1. This was part of a 3-look set. I love this image. Hope you do to!
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.

I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
