I met a Paige at a photography conference. There were 20 of us and she was the only model. It was a little chaotic. She liked my work so she reached out for a one on one with me and a lot less chaos. We shot a few looks but I thought I'd post this one since it has a little bit of Spring vibe. I hope you like it.
I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
Flowers growing in our garden. Another experiment with sliders in post. Mostly perspective which is not easy because one can make a move and it says I can't do that!
