A colleague photographed Kianna years ago. I thought she was captivating. We've tried to connect to have a shoot our own since then. Finally after 7 years we shot some lifestyle in Austin, TX. It was great that we could finally connect. By the way, I think the images were spectacular. I hope you like them.

I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
