Jadyn was referred to me by a model friend. She's not a model and she lives a few hours drive away from the city. She wanted to have the model/photoshoot experience. We planned a 3-look set and she crushed it. This image is from the first look and I love it. I hope you do too!

I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
