CC for Barber Chair - ESP

So here's my take on the Barber Chair at Eastern State Penitentiary, which many of you may be familiar with. I included a before shot for reference. ( I didn't know what group to put this in, so if there is a more appropriate one, please advise).

The main draw for me in this space is the wonderful variety of colors (blue/greys, lavender/purples, and of course the rusts and green/patinas). Yes, the degree of decay and dilapidation is of course a feast for the eyes for those who enjoy such things (like myself). However, when I was physically there, I was surprised at how much color was present in each of the surfaces, even if much of it is subtle and quite faded. A quick Google image search of this subject shows many photographers choose to ignore this aspect or just really reduce the amount of color shown. So I gently coaxed those colors out (hopefully without going overboard) with some tonal adjustments, I left the red of the seat a bit hot to pull the eye. I know the skylight is blown, but I purposely waited to shoot until mid-day to get the sun high to get a strong shaft of light through the skylight to help create more mood which I enhanced a bit in post. I didn't have time to go back to re-shoot a softer lit skylight so I'm making the best with what I have. [edit: Seems uploading to Fstoppers lost some of the wonderful sharp grittiness of the space - bummer]

What ya think?
