Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
Two from Tenerife
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Hey Matthias, I like your image and I like how the lighting shows the shape very well.
From a composition point of view I personally would like to see the mouse from an other angle that would compliment its form a little better.
For the lighting the only thing I would prefer is if the bottom of the mouse would have a little more separation with the surface it is resting on.
Keep up the nice work!
Hi Claude,
thanks for your comment. Which angle would you propose to compliment the form of the mouse?
I want to let the bottom in the dark, but maybe it´s too dark. On my monitor it´s not too dark but It could be that my monitor is not correct calibrated.
Thanks
Matthias
I would like to see the mouse a bit more like a 3/4 shot from the rear. It's so nice and smooth that I personally would like to see the longest side of the mouse to create depth.
