2019 Volvo S60

It's been a while since I've posted anything, I've been jaded lately with my job and photography but I forced myself to get out and just shoot anything.

I work for a Volvo dealer in Vegas and I'm fortunate enough to be able to drive any of our Demos so I took the new 2019 S60 R-Design for a little road trip. I drove around looking for spots and I just didn't feel excited about anything so I pulled off the Highway and found this banked turn on a dirt road. I didn't bother with Valley of Fire since there wasn't much daylight left.

I wanted to portray the vehicle somewhat in motion even though It's sitting still with the sun getting ready to set in the background casting hard light everywhere.

The more warm toned image is the Edit, I like the lens flare so I didn't try to edit any of it out.

I didn't have my CPL with me at the time just my ND but I think the reflections and glare still worked well.

Shot on Nikon D750 with 24-85mm Kit.
62mm
F5.6
Iso: 100
Shutter: 160

Looking for critiques and input, how would you edit this, or how would you have shot it differently?

IMO it is pretty dark, but I know that was the mood you were going for. I would have angled the car differently or backed up around the curve do the sun raked across the front grill, badge, foglights, etc. but still keeping the hard shadow. Maybe if you had the headlights on and not just the DRL it would help?
You show the bends in the hood pretty well but the color is dead. The old rule is direct light shows the color and reflected light shows the shape.
What did you use the ND for? Maybe if you showed a little more side the CPL would have come in handy.
