I wanted to use this elevator for an action photo, in particular, a snowmobile shot. I couldn't figure out how to make it work, so I settled on a snowboard shot with my cousin, Tyson. I love how the setting sun threw his shadow onto the grain elevator.
The more I continue to age the more I seem to be drawn to images that retain a level of familiarity, but draw me away from the realities of life.
One of my favorite waterfalls I've photographed in recent years. deep in the backcountry of Vancouver Island lies this pristine oasis.
