I'm just an old man who likes to take photos of the local high school kids. Night games have much more atmosphere & excitement but shooting action shots is tough shooting in the dungeons high schools call their stadiums. Much prefer the Saturday JV games played in daylight.
I was recently back in the woods trying to take some wildlife photos. Sadly, I barely came across any birds that day and whenever I did, they were gone before I could even focus on them.
Caught this house sparrow in a bush. In his beak, you can see what looks like his meal for the evening.
The current AI contest made me revisit a photo I took in 2008 that I've been trying to save from a chain link fence.
It was July 6, 2026, around 6:30 p.m. The sun was settling low over Port Orchard, and the wildlife seemed to settle with it.
