I shoot the local rodeo every year. Good photos are pretty easy to come by, great photos are another thing all together. Sometimes you just see it through the view finder as the shutter is ripping them off at 7fps. After reviewing over 1300 images I kept going back to this one. After a closer crop it came to me. One determined to stay on and the other determined to throw him off.
The more I continue to age the more I seem to be drawn to images that retain a level of familiarity, but draw me away from the realities of life.
One of my favorite waterfalls I've photographed in recent years. deep in the backcountry of Vancouver Island lies this pristine oasis.
