Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

Not knowing the size of your subject or how or the size of your sensor.......we can't but guess........
Haa, the subject is a tiny gecko. Probably 4" in size. I'm not sure of the size of the sensor, but am shooting on a Sony A7III.
Macro photography is generally considered to start at 1:1 magnification. Sensor size versus size of the subject.
