I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
The Sun and the Moon: Edited to add last photo
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

I like the exposure and choice to go black and white. I also love the mountains in the distance.
The composition is OK, but I don't like having half a log popping in on the left side. You might be able to crop it out here, because it's not really adding to the image, instead it's a little distracting.
Also, there appears to be sensor dust or water stains throughout the image. Have you cleaned your sensor and lenses recently.
With a slightly different crop or composition, and a cleaner sensor, I'd give this a 3-4.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the feedback Jordan. I will try a different crop, and I have since cleaned my sensor. You are right, it was dirty. Cheers!
i agree with Jordan on this could have probably shot lower to the ground for a better comp
