I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

I like this - clever composition. I'm guessing you ramped up the ISO in shutter priority to get the sharp portion of the photo?

it's just take totally 3 different shots with tripod, it take about 5min to take it. One photo with train, man on left and last was man at right.
