Need Assistance on 1st Composite

I timed my niece's engagement shoot so the sun would be directly centered above the columns. However, they were running late. While I try to do everything in camera as much as possible, I decided to take some shots of the sun and columns without the couple and attempt a composite later.

This is my first composite and I feel it's definitely not as good as it can be. I feel like they are too separated from the background and don't blend as well as they could, especially since the shots were taken about an hour apart and it became overcast. It looks like a composite.

I acknowledge there are other elements that need focusing on but I'm still working on refining the image.

Take care of the shadows. you can see harsh shadows for the columns but no shadows at all for the subject. Try to blur the background little bit because now everything in focus which cant be real. You also overcropped the nice dress. move them to the lift and show more from the dress. Use the grass from the picture with the sun. it's more realistic.

Thank you so much for your input, Samer. All valid observations that I can see getting this image closer to what i need it to be.
