Flying a kite is one of those timeless childhood activities that gets rediscovered by each new generation. In the course of taking several photographs of this girl flying her kite, I asked her to hold the string of the kite such that her hand was not obscuring her face. In the end though, the shot I liked the most was this one in which her hand partially obscures her face.
Recently, I taught an Off Camera Flash class. Paige was my model for the class. We were outdoors but it started to rain. Luckily, a nearby restaurant let us conduct the class in their dining room.
