Pika Soaking it all Up

So I spotted this Pika in a scree field while backpacking in the maroon bells wilderness. This is not the sharpest image ever (I think i was little too shaky from hiking with all my camera gear) but I love the vibes. It was taken near sunset and I love that it appears to be watching the sunset and how the warm bokeh just kinda runs through its line of sight.

Also some of my first photos with my new fuji xf 500mm lens. More photos (better than this) and thoughts to come.

Fuji x-t4, xf 500m @ f5.6, 1/500, ISO 500

What a wonderful image! Pika are one of my very favorite subjects, so I have a real big appreciation for what you were able to capture. The bokeh is gorgeous and conveys the mood and feel of the shot wonderfully.
