Under a Billion Stars
Every time I drove past this tree during the day, I found myself wondering how I could capture it in a photograph. Last June, I finally got the opportunity. The Milky Way was perfectly positioned above the tree, creating exactly the composition I had imagined.
It was also my very first time photographing the Milky Way with my camera. Seeing it with my own eyes had always been a dream of mine. Although it wasn’t nearly as visible to the naked eye as it appears in the photograph, watching the image come to life on my camera made the moment even more special.
