Hello Everyone, I wanted to share this picture of my new port in beauty. Two lights one main beauty dish with grid and another one from the background.
Edited using mainly dodge and burn. Any recommendations are welcome.
That's a good job. With just 2 lights, it is more than a good job it is impressive. The edit is very good too, except I like eyes to look more natural, the whites that is. Here they are too white, a bit. I would also crop out, or clone out, the small dark shape at the very bottom right corner. Five seconds of easy work, so a nothing of a job, which I bet you intended to do and just forgot about.
The only thing that I might suggest apart from the above is the power of your modelling light, which should be reduced a bit, so her eyes dilate a little, making the eyes look more attracted/attractive. Yes, her irises are very pretty but we respond at a primevil level to dilated eyes, which means the person it attracted to us. And who does not want to feel that a beauty model is attracted to them.
Excellent work with your camera and your post-production.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on it Ian, I really appreciate it. I will pay more attention to the whites and about the modeling lights to watch out for the dilation.
Indeed I totally forgot about the black thingy on the right bottom corner.
Thank you very much Misheck, I usually dont have much time to spend in retouching, so when I finally decide to sit down and edit some beauty shots, it takes me quite some time. I believe I spend almost an hour with this one.
