Good day, everyone!
New to the community and looking for pointers and advice to further hone my skillset.
I went to an open house at a studio which had a massive window wall facing east. During the late morning/early afternoon I utilized the natural light and the shadows from the window frames in hopes of furthering the compositional interest.
What do you like, what don't you like. Any advice from composition to editing is appreciated.
Instead of giving you an in death critique I'm just going to give you the first two thoughts I had when I say the photo.
The first and for most is that I think having the model look at the camera in the pose feels unnatural. I think if her eyes are looking camera right it would feel less forced.
A house keeping type thing that I would recommend doing is to edit out the power outlet on the wall. This can be done a few different ways in photoshop. My favorite way is to make a new layer and then cone stamp over the outlet.
Thanks for the input Martin!
