A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

I like what you did here but I would have cleaned up the flying hair some.
Thank you! I debated about the hair. I ended up liking it.
Hi hector. A good frame as always. posting a query. observing that all noted professionals have started cropping the upper part of head in such portrait compositions. Please care to share your thoughts. Thanks.
Thank you so much Vijay! Regarding the crop. I shoot a lot of fashion photography. That genre really doesn't have any cropping norms since the objective is to show off the fashion. Often times the head is cropped to force the viewer into the more important part of the image. I crop for Instagram (4 x 5) and search for the most striking image.
Hi Hector. thanks for sharing.
