Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

The eyes are super sharp, which I like the the brow being so out of focus really puts me off. I like shallow depth of field. but I think this is a little too shallow, I would like to see the brows in focus too. I like the shot though, well done!
Next time i will try. Mabe i am to excited about fast apatures. Thanks!
A little flat (as in no shadows or depth), skin so perfect it looks a bit like plastic. The eyes are beautiful, and cool crop.
plastic is fantastic!
Valdo... it"s nice that You have something to say. Really
I replied to Joseph comment only.
Overprocesed with skin? I think i like it as a perfect, but you could be right about the depth.. im not sure if it can be done in postprocess or it's ONLY all about light
For me, it's a little too tight a crop. And the fingers on the shoulder are a distraction. I like the intensity of it, but maybe pull back a bit.
