Another of your fine, restrained images, Chris! I like the touch of drama with the sunlit outcrop, but not OMG! Wow! drama.
You seem to have a typically UK sense for preserving a degree of realism rather than maximum possible impact above all, which I share. Given this, to my eye, the sky looks just a bit too unrealistically dark, even allowing for the contrasting shaft of foreground sunlight.
Hi Chris, many thanks for your comment. I have lifted the sky and will re-post to see if anyone thinks its better. The day was really dull and flat except for this really bright patch of light slowly moving over this crag. I do attempt to keep photos obviously but slightly edited, I'm not really into the heavy editing as demonstrated by many of the images here. That's not meant to be derogatory in any way to those superb works of art, it's just my simple preference. Thanks again.
