Timing and muscle strain were the payment to capture this image. The hot springs random bubbling scrambling the reflection and propping the camera half in the spring and half in the surround marsh made for a challenging shot.
I would have liked to have had the camera positioned a little higher to better capture the stream in the midground, but that change in angle removed the reflection. Was a difficult choice, even though the reflection is not great, I think it adds enough interest to make it worthwhile.
