A super interesting shot! What worries me is: what usvthe subject? The water around the yellow spot or the yellow spot? In case it us the yellow sot a cut out would work better: less cluttered.
In honesty it was the textures in the scene that I wanted to capture rather than a specific element, though I was conscious of the composition and the flow of the water through the image. For me the spot on the rock provides a little additional interest but was not the subject per se.
Actually the whole black and white thing and then a sparkle of gold is what made this pic for me :)
