Down on the waterfront this morning, tide was out, Heron were sitting along the water fishing. There was a boat coming across the water from Bremerton heading into Port Orchard.

Barking Owl
These owls are very vocal, and they certainly do sound just like dogs barking.

really interesting rock formation, it lends itself to different shots, maybe even some macro shots, I would have tried a perpendicular approach from above
I often try to get vertically over these kinds of rock formations as much as I can, Salvo, until things start tipping over, and tripod legs and their shadows get in the way! It depends on their size.
