Salt Textures

A late evening photoshoot along a river bed in Death Valley. This small formation of salt tiles caught my eye earlier that day, and with the strong ambient glow from sunset, I know the light and the colours would be perfect during dusk. Thankfully the skies stayed clear and I was able to capture the textures with nice ambient light.

This image was done in late 1980s on Polaroid's instant slide film Polapan - a prefect film for beauty and boudoir photography as skin tones were rendered silky.
