Sometimes a bit of luck is all you need.

I was recently back in the woods trying to take some wildlife photos. Sadly, I barely came across any birds that day and whenever I did, they were gone before I could even focus on them.
Caught this house sparrow in a bush. In his beak, you can see what looks like his meal for the evening.

I definitely remember the truck scene and the first and second look familiar. I wish you the best for your awesome photos.
Thanks. This is the only competition I enter anymore. The others, regardless of my success or lack thereof, seem to be merely revenue generators for the galleries involved, especially those with purely online presence. The Woodmere is a real museum, and it's only about a half-hour drive away.
I agree that many of the completions made available to photographers seems to be money making ventures.
I’m all for submitting to and supporting local organizations.
Good for you Andrew. I find competitions hit or miss myself. This is especially the case when submitting abstract art as it does not comply with the traditional norms.
Best of luck with your worthy submissions.
Good for you, Andrew! Some of these look familiar. It's always just rewarding to enter no matter the outcome!
