April challenge - new beginnings

With Spring finally hitting Vermont I think that this month's challenge should revolve around the things that are new in our lives.

So, let's get some discussions going. Feel free to add new images or the results of projects you are working on, but as this is a discussion group this does not have to be limited to pictures, or even photography for that matter.

For my own part, here's a rundown of what's going on in my life.

1. I am beta testing an updated version of the Bluristic app. This offers a few additional features and improvements that I'm currently exploring.

2. Along with this I have been digging deeper into the Additive & Negative Bluristic modes. These were initially discounted due to their drastic effects but I'm finding that when controlled tightly they can produce interesting results.

3.With the weather keeping me indoors I have been updating my website to add collection points for my ongoing 'ICM unlocked' and 'Bluristic app' series of blog posts. The 'ICM-unlocked' series was updated this week, and I hope to update the Bluristic series soon to detail the differences between modes.

That's all for me. I'll leave you with a couple of images from the new version of Bluristic - one taken in 'Zebra' mode (with basically posterizes input), and a second that layers this with a shot taken in Additive mode,
