These are so fascinating to me. Very nice.

We lived in our previous home (built 1935) for a quarter-century was full of crystal knobs. I never once thought of photographing them.

You could have gone either way on focus stacking and you wouldn't be wrong.. same as choosing Color or B&W.

I've tried capturing the light from them a few different ways. They throw off some colorful reflections at the right time of day too. But for this one I was aiming for internal structure

Cool. Now, I'm looking into the reflections trying to see what they are. Blowing it up, looking closely, I think I see a room with a desk and a window.

Yup, big antique desk and many windows! Some of the colors comes from a warm mission style pattern rug too
