Panorama from a Moving Vehicle

We just got back from a week at the beach and as a passenger I like to entertain myself by shooting panoramas. The first image was taken on the way down and the second was taken on the way back.

I have tried this multiple times and rarely get results like these. They remind me of The Matrix and also Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Avengers Movies (with Thanos) where the worlds are breaking apart and disappearing.

To use an archaic term, awesome! (hahaha) It does seem very Matrix-like.

These are really cool images, Dean. I love the effect that was created. Definitely feels like things are becoming a dream or a different realm. Nice work as always. I also appreciate the difference in atmosphere - the first being dreary and the second being sunny. It elevates the story in both!

Crazy results Dean. Were these taken with a mobile phone, moving it as you traveled?

Yes. Panning left to right with my phone. Sometimes when I was panning left to right the orientation wanted to go up and down.

It was very WET and Windy when we arrived and the next day as well. I thought I would try placing my phone against the window and do a panorama while rotating the phone.

You've outdone yourself with these, Dean! They are crazy good. You're a great experimenter.

Recently, I taught an Off Camera Flash class. Paige was my model for the class. We were outdoors but it started to rain. Luckily, a nearby restaurant let us conduct the class in their dining room.
