Most of Alex's portfolio is strong poses in bikinis. She reached out to me and asked if we should shoot something "soft and pretty". I thought an early morning shoot in a natural setting would give us the right vibe. An off the shoulder peasant dress rounded out the vibe. I think we got "soft and pretty". I hope you like it.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.

I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
I spotted this blackbird tucked among the leaves. Unlike most birds, it didn’t flinch when I raised my camera it simply stayed put, almost as if it was posing for the shot.
This is deeply meaningful to me. Surviving and blossoming despite all attempts to stop me blossoming on my own terms.
