The Beauty of Landscape Photography in Bad Weather

Almost no one enjoys standing in the wind and rain, and I certainly would not blame you if you saw the clouds rolling in and wanted to pack up your equipment and head home. Nonetheless, you might be missing out on fantastic images if you do not stick around for the storm, and this fantastic video will show you just what you might be able to accomplish in those situations.

Coming to you from Alister Benn of Expressive Photography, this excellent video will show you what you can accomplish in landscape photography in bad weather. Before anything else, you should be sure you are staying safe in inclement weather, but once you are in a good place, this is a great chance to get interesting shots. Not only will they look a bit different than the golden sunlight, partly cloudy looks we are used to, the moody conditions often lend a fantastic sense of drama to your shots that simply is not possible in nicer weather. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Benn.
